I was a bit concerned at first. The “View Singles Now” button makes me think that you can view all the profiles without signing up, which would be a big red flag.
Luckily, a registration form popped up.
It requires you to fill in the following:

- Password
Simply consent that you are over 18 and agree with the terms and conditions. Click on the new “View Singles Now” button, and you’re registered.
Use your Facebook account to register on AfroIntroductions. The platform pulls all the relevant information from your Facebook account to your AfroIntroductions account, so you don’t have so much to fill in when you complete your online dating profile.
Does AfroIntroductions Have a Mobile App?
The great news is that AfroIntroductions has a mobile app. It’s available on the Google Play and App Store, so Android and iOS users can use the online dating platform.
On the App Store, AfroIntroductions has 1.7k reviews and a 4.6-star rating. The reviews are weird though. The people praise the app or give it a 5-star rating simply because they are hoping to meet the love of their life. Others point out how super scammy the dating platform is, even calling AfroIntroductions AfroScammers.
On Google Play, the dating app has 51.4k reviews and a 4.3-star rating. The reviews here seem to be more genuine about how the people like the app but find some features missing or lacking. Most of the negative reviews are payment related or how expensive the site is.

I looked through many of the profiles on AfroIntroductions.com. The site needs to approve your profile image before your profile is active. And there’s a lot of information their users need to fill in.
Most of the profiles seem to be fake, with the main images of the ladies being too beautiful. That isn’t to say that African ladies are not stunners; I’m merely saying that if images seem to be magazine or movie star quality, the profiles are fake 99% of the time.

Of course, some online dating companies have a practice where they buy reviews or spam these sites with fake reviews to make the service seem better than it truly is.
That’s why I always read the reviews with a few grains of salt and don’t just take them at face value.

AfroIntroductions has a verified company profile on Trustpilot with more than 600 reviews and a 3.8-star rating.
Here’s a breakdown how the reviewers scored AfroIntroductions:

The reviews are strange. Many of the 5-star reviews mention how many scammers are on AfroIntroductions, and surely that doesn’t warrant more than 1 star?
That being said, there are a few seemingly genuine good reviews where the person mentions they met the love of their life on the site. But my BS meter is already engaged, so I do question the credibility of the great reviews.
Sitejabber
On Sitejabber, AfroIntroductions has only 4 reviews and a 4.1-star rating. The dating platform has one 3 and one 4-star rating and 2 one-star ratings.
The reviews don’t reveal any new information, with one person raving about AfroIntroductions.com and the rest pointing out how fake and scammy the site is.
Anti-Scam Policy at AfroIntroductions
The AfroIntroductions terms of use are very detailed but I couldn’t find any information about an anti-scam policy. The site does apparently verify profile images, and you have the option to block and report suspicious accounts.
But that’s kinda it. Most often, these dating sites may block a user temporarily or the member simply opens a new account to scam more people.
Very effective, right?
Our Verdict: Too Many Fake Profiles and Negative Reviews
It’s time for my final verdict. While Cupid Media seems like a legit company, I can’t recommend AfroIntroductions.

There are too many fake profiles and bad and scammy reviews. The lack of a clear anti-scam policy and the fact that the site (which targets Africans) doesn’t have African language options are big nos.
There are better, more reputable dating sites you can use to find your dream match.
